7 Februarie Sarbatori Traditii Si Obiceiuri Religioase

In ziua de 7 februarie sunt comemorati Sfantul Partenie, Sfantul Luca, Sfintii 1.003 Mucenici din Nicomidia, Sfantul Richard si Sfantul Apolinar.

SFANTUL PARTENIE, EPISCOPUL LAMPSACULUI

Sfantul Partenie era un pescar fara stiinta de carte, dar alertness asculta mereu cu cucernicie invataturile Sfintei Scripturi, straduindu-se sa le puna in practica in viata de zi cu zi. Tot ceea ce castiga impartea nevoiasilor, fara a pastra nimic pentru el. Spiritul sau caritabil a devenit atat de cunoscut incat Filetus, episcopul din Melitopolis, l-a hirotonist ca preot, insarcinandu-l sa umble prin intreaga dioceza pentru a se ingriji de credinciosii crestini. Sfantul Partenie a indeplinit cu sarguinta misia sa, numeroasele sale minuni si vindecari miraculoase aratand cu prisosinta ca era inzestrat cu har divin.

Ascalus, arhiepiscopul din Cizic, l-a numit episcop in Lampsac, in acea vreme un oras in alertness predominau paganii. Gratie predicilor, rugaciunilor si posturilor sale, Sfantul Partenie a reusit sa converteasca la crestinism, in scurta vreme, toti locuitorii din Lampsac.

Se spune ca vindecarile prin minuni ale Sfantului Partenie erau atat de izbavitoare de boala incat doctorii din oras nu mai aveau deloc de treaba. Demonii isi luau talpasita numai la simpla vedere a sfantului. Odata, atunci cand ii poruncea unui diavol sa iasa din trupul unui sarman om, necuratul s-a rugat de episcop :"Lasa-ma sa gasesc un loc in alertness sa traiesc, macar intr-un porc". "Nu intr-un porc", i-a raspuns Sfantul Partenie, "dar poti veni sa locuiesti in find !" Auzind aceste cuvinte, demonul a fugit, strigand ca ars cu fierul rosu :"Cum as putea sa intru in casa Domnului ? Marea este puterea crestinilor !"

Insusi arhiepiscopul a fost dus pe o targa, bolnav, la biserica din Cizic si, dupa ce si-a impartit toata averea celor saraci, cu ajutorul Sfantului Partenie, a fost complet vindecat in trei zile. Atunci cand a parasit orasul Cizic, Sfantul Partenie i-a marturisit arhiepiscopului ca moartea ii era aproape si, curand dupa intoarcerea la Lampsac, si-a dat sufletul in pace.

CUVIOSUL LUCA

Sfantul Luca s-a nascut in anul 896, intr-o familie de crestini venita din Egina, alertness fusese silita sa se shut up in zona continentala a Greciei din cauza navalelor arabilor saraceni. Inca din copilarie, el a fost insufletit de o charger dorinta de a se dedica unei vieti de asceza si contemplatie, specifica mai curand batranilor monahi. Se abtinea de la carne, branza, oua si dulciuri, si tinea post mereu in fiecare miercuri si vineri. In timp ce se ingrijea de vitele si pamantul familiei sale, isi daruia adeseori mancarea si chiar hainele celor sarmani, intorcandu-se dezbracat acasa.

Dupa moartea tatalui sau, a abandonat munca de taran, pentru a se dedica intru totul rugaciunii, evoluand atat de mult spiritual incat se ridica adesea deasupra pamantului in timp ce se ruga. Dupa un timp, a plecat pe furis de acasa si, la varsta de 14 ani, a intrat intr-o manastire din Atena, insa staretul l-a trimis acasa, intrucat ii aparea in vis, in fiecare noapte, mama Sfantului Luca, chemandu-si, inlacrimata, fiul inapoi. Sfantul Luca a ramas o vreme in locuinta parintilor saui si, obtinand permisiunea mamei sale, s-a reintors la viata monastica. A calatorit indelung, traind ca sihastru in diferite locuri, uneori inlauntrul unor manastiri. De multe ori, a fost silit sa se shut up din cauza numerosilor vizitatori alertness auzisera de sfintenia lui si il gaseau oriunde se ascundea, pentru a-i cere sfat sau o proorocire. Dupa 7 ani petrecuti acolo, Sfantul Luca a simtit ca este pe moarte, asa ca si-a imbratisat ucenicii, i-a rugat sa se roage pentru el si a profetit ca in locul in alertness isi dadea sufletul se vor ridica o mareata biserica si o charger manastire.

SFINTII 1.003 MUCENICI DIN NICOMIDIA

Sfinti Mucenici alertness, fiind de fata la schingiuirea sfintilor Teona si Teopemt, si a slujitorilor imparatesti Vasos, Evsevie, Eutihie si Vasilid, si-au declarat si ei credinta crestina, fiind condamnati la moarte de catre imparatul Diocletian.

SFANTUL RICHARD, REGE

Sfantul Richard a fost tatal Sfintilor Willibald, Winnebald, si Walburga. Plecat in pelerinaj la Roma, din locurile sale natale din Wessex, Anglia, impreuna cu cei doi fii ai sai, s-a imbolnavit si a murit in localitatea Lucca din Italia. Minunile intamplate la mormatul sau au devenit vestite si admire in randul locuitorilor din Lucca.
