121. The same as HAPPENED IN THE Anguish IN THE Patch OF GETHSEMANE?
(Comp 121) Nonetheless the dread which death represented for the sacred graciousness of Jesus "who is the Corral of Being" (Acts 3:15), the whatsoever drive of the Son of God remained firm to the drive of the Foundation for our help. Jesus proven the tax to continue our sins in his Shell "becoming clear unto death" (Philippians 2:8).
"In soaring"
(CCC 623) By his loving devotion to the Foundation, "unto death, even death on a contain" (Phil 2:8), Jesus fulfils the atoning order (cf. Isa 53:10) of the disorder Servant, who drive "make compound righteous; and he shall use their iniquities" (Isa 53:11; cf. Rom 5:19).
To deepen and display
(CCC 612) The cup of the New Arrangement, which Jesus proposed in the same way as he accessible himself at the Difficulty Supper, is afterwards proven by him from his Father's hands in his bother in the garden at Gethsemani (Cf. Mt 26:42; Lk 22:20), making himself "clear unto death". Jesus prays: "My Foundation, if it be optional, let this cup scuttle from me..." (Phil 2:8; Mt 26:39; cf. Heb 5:7-8). For that reason he expresses the dread that death represented for his whatsoever type. Similar ours, his whatsoever type is required for eternal life; but something else ours, it is flawlessly reason from sin, the end in of death (Cf. Rom 5:12; Heb 4:15). Better-quality all, his whatsoever type has been accepted by the divine personality of the "Corral of life", the "Being One" (Cf. Acts 3:15; Rev 1:17; Jn 1:4; 5:26). By consenting in his whatsoever drive that the Father's drive be done, he accepts his death as redemptive, for "he himself not interest our sins in his unit on the tree" (1 Pt 2:24; cf. Mt 26:42).
On deliberation
(CCC 1009) "Deficit is changed by Christ". Jesus, the Son of God, besides himself suffered the death that is part of the whatsoever ceremonial. Yet, in spite of his hopelessness as he faced death, he proven it in an act of completed and free proffer to his Father's drive (Cf. Mk 14:33-34; Heb 5:7-8). The devotion of Jesus has changed the curse of death clothed in a blessing (Cf. Rom 5:19-21). (CCC 2600) The Gospel according to St. Luke emphasizes the action of the Consecrated Creature and the meaning of prayer in Christ's ministry. Jesus prays "through" the encouraging moments of his mission: through his Father's study to him taking part in his baptism ceremony and Transfiguration, and through his own enjoyment of the Father's marshal of love by his Passion (Cf. Lk 3:21; 9:28; 22:41-44). He besides prays through the encouraging moments connecting the order of his apostles: at his take part in a ballot and sort of the Twelve, through Peter's tribute of him as "the Christ of God," and once again that the support of the primary of the Apostles may not go amiss in the same way as tempted (Cf. Lk 6:12; 9:18-20; 22:32). Jesus' prayer through the deeds of help that the Foundation has asked him to delight is a unknown and simple persistence of his whatsoever drive to the loving drive of the Foundation.
